Church Government
Trinity Baptist Church operates through a congregational system of church government. That means that each and every church member has an equal vote in the most important decisions discussed at our regulary scheudled family conferences. Because voting on every decision in the church would not only be ineffeicient and impractical, but in all reality impossible, it is necessary to delegate responsibility to spiritually mature, capable leaders. Responsibility is delegated to designated ministry leaders empowered and discharged to lead their respective ministries. Deacons are assigned to specific ministries to encourage, provide support, and ensure that ministry leaders have all the resources they need to accomplish their goals and fulfill their responsibilities.
